Truck Night is conveniently located between Cleveland and Pittsburgh on State Route 7 in Brookfield, Ohio just minutes from Interstates 80 and 11. Taking place every Friday evening, May through August with special events throughout the season, Truck Night at Yankee Lake has an average attendance of 4,500 spectators that are entertained by over 400 trucks and Jeeps participating in events that range from show and shine contests, mud pits, truck tug-of-wars, rock crawls, swamp tracks, log climbs, hill climbs, mud bogs, mega hill climbs, a 3 mile off-road trail and an obstacle course.
Truck Night at Yankee Lake is owned by Penn Ohio Promotions, Inc. and is operated by individuals with over 75 years of experience in the entertainment, trucking, excavation, and monster truck industries. The event takes place in the bed of a drained 55 acre manmade lake that was established in the 1920’s by the Jurko family, which has owned and operated successful businesses on the property for over 80 years.

Yankee Lake has been the home to many successful events over the years including record hops and dances in its 20,000 square foot ballroom with acts ranging from Glen Miller and Cab Calloway, to Ike and Tina Turner and Marvin Gaye, to concerts with crowds of over 10,000 for national recording acts such as ZZ Top and Willie Nelson, and David Allan Coe.
