Quads, four wheelers and dirt bikes are NOT allowed unless otherwise noted.
Side by Sides are allowed with safety flags and/or light poles.
We want you to have fun. These rules are for your personal safety as well the safety of others including Truck Night Staff. PLEASE OBEY AND FOLLOW!!! No pets are permitted, service animals may be exempt.
Mudding area speed limit is 15 MPH. All other areas speed limits are 5 MPH (i.e. Pit Parking, Spectator Parking, all driveways, roads, etc.).
Mudding begins exactly one hour after the gates open (after the National Anthem) and goes until the time stated. Tractor services run during mudding hours only. Anyone caught mudding prior to start time or after finish time will be given only one verbal warning to return to the pit parking area. If you continue to mud after the verbal warning you will be removed from Yankee Lake Truck Night.
Mud Vehicles must have working headlights and a least one working taillight to play in the mud after dusk. If you have a LED light bar please be courteous to others and try not to blind them with it.
All passengers must remain inside the vehicle or inside bedrails when mudding. No sitting on bedsides, doors, or rear windows. No standing in truck beds or through a sunroof/moonroof. Absolutely no riding on flatbeds unless proper seat w/belt or safety harness is installed.
Bed size passenger rule: Mid-size truck bed (i.e. Ranger, Dakota, S-10, etc.) MAXIMUM of 4 people allowed. Full-size truck w/ short bed MAXIMUM of 6 people allowed. Full-size truck w/ long bed MAXIMUM of 8 people allowed.
The Driver is RESPONSIBLE for the safety of all his/her passengers in the vehicle and if applies the TRUCK BED. PLEASE OBEY ALL TRAFFIC SIGNS (Enter, Exit, One Way, etc.) they are not a suggestion they are for your safety. Excessive speeds and/or reckless driving WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, only one verbal warning will be issued before EJECTION from Yankee Lake Truck Night. And PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE
We strongly recommend that you wear your seatbelt for your protection.Participants under the age of 18 MUST WEAR SEATBELTS ALWAYS ESPECIALLY CHILDREN FALLING INTO PROPER RESTRAINT CATEGORY A CAR SEAT(S) MUST BE INSTALLED IN THE MUD VEHICLE FOR CHILDREN FALLING UNDER THE CAR SEAT LAW.
The Off-road Trail closes 1 HOUR before wheeling time ends NO EXCEPTIONS. On the trail headlights must be on always, OBEY ALL SIGNS AND DIRECTIONAL ARROWS, speed limit is 15 MPH, and PLEASE DO NOT LITTER the trail is for your enjoyment not a garbage dump.
A pit pass does not give you the right to roam around the mud areas on foot. If your mud vehicle is stuck stay with the vehicle until staff personnel arrives. If you are not with your vehicle our staff will skip over you and you will be at the back of the list. You are responsible for hooking your own vehicle not staff personnel they will only advise if you are hooking wrong. DRIVING AREAS ARE NOT FOR PARKING TO SIT AND WATCH THEY ARE FOR MUDDING. If you must park (i.e. overheating, mechanical issues, etc.) please pull off to the nearest edge.
Side by Sides, Razors, UTV, Sand Rails, and/or Dune Buggies are permitted with the following items:
Orange flag 8 feet off the ground
Seatbelts are to be worn always
Helmets are recommended but not required
All Quads, ATVs, 4 Wheelers, Three Whelers, are not allowed during a normal Truck Night; staff personnel only allowed. If it’s a special event (i.e. ATV Night and/or Side by Side Night) ATVs, Quads, 4 Wheelers, and/or Three Wheelers are permitted for that night only. ABSOLUTELY NO DIRTBIKES!!!
As stated before these rules are for your safety not to prevent you from enjoying a fun filled night of MUDDING. We do our best to give you as much leniency and let you do what you wish WITHIN REASON. If our staff personnel feel that you are pushing the limits they will ask you to please obey the rules and do as they say. We want you to have a fun time here at Yankee Lake Truck Night and get home safely to come back soon.
